Three more speed bumps have appeared on the Queens Retail park road - apparently 'savage' ones.
Whenever I go past, there seems to be little chance of speeding in the queueing traffic...
I haven't been in there for at least five years, possibly ten - it is a constant source of surprise that a place so large can hold so little of interest to me.Can confirm, the speed bumps have been redone and are crazy even below the speed limit they expect (15)
Someone’s suspension is going to be fudged by that and they’re going to very quickly shave them back down to a reasonable size when they get the bill.
Do you mean poundstrecher or pound world? It’s been on the news that Mothercare Stafford Queens Retail Park is closing.
So carpet right, mothercare, toys r us and poundworld are all gonna close and be empty- never saw this retail park so empty! quite sad for all the people loosing their jobs.
Poundworld is struggling and it's looking like a large number of sites may have to closeDo you mean poundstrecher or pound world?

So farewell then Beatties
Probably
Chinese owned it
But don't they own everything
Sad to see Beatties going, my first ‘proper’ job after leaving college was going on their management training scheme. It was a great place to work giving proper customer service which unfortunately seems to be unsustainable in the age of internet shopping. I went in at Christmas for the first time in years and was frankly shocked by the state of the place. The writing has been on the wall for a while, House of Fraser have barely given the building a lick of paint since I left there in 2000.
