Went to see Kevin Bridges at the Gatehouse on Thursday night. He put on a great show. Shame two young berks spent 3/4 of the show doing their utmost to p@ss him off! At least he had them thrown out towards end.

Haven't got my fringe brochure yet no,

Look what came through the letterbox this morning.

The housework and gardening can wait now. I’m going to sit in the garden and have a browse.
It might take a while, there are over 400 pages to look through.

I'd like to go see Sara Pascoe, she in there?
I can't see her. The comedians are listed in alphabetical order so it might be that she's listed her show with something other than her own name ( unusual but it does happen).

Brochures are free to order from the fringe website, it's just a few pounds for postage.

What dates are you there Carole? There's a really good comedian appearing on the 14th, in fact she'll be at The Met on Tuesday if you're working...

I’ve got evacuation training on Tues so I’m not working the show.

We’re in Edinburgh for the last weekend. We usually go the third week but going over the bank holiday this time.

Who Is the comedian? It’s unusual to do one only night at Edinburgh I think.

Finally got round to talking the better half to see Flight of the Conchords at the Genting Arena on Wednesday following a rescheduled date caused by Bret breaking his wrist.

Amazing show and they played much more new stuff than I was expecting....

I want to see Rhod Gilbert.
He's starting to put dates out for next year, hoping he visits The Gatehouse.

Yes it’s a shameless plug.

We’re going up the last weekend of the Fringe this year, we usually go earlier.

I’m in the process of doing my spreadsheet. We usually aim for about 6 shows a day starting at lunchtime.

First I go through the brochure and make a list of who I possibly want to see.

Then I sort them out in start time order.
Then I look at my venue map to see how it works logistically to get from one venue to another. I try to work it so that the shows on one day are all fairly near to each other, although it doesn’t always work out and we end up frantically running from one venue to another.

We eat and drink on the hop from the many excellent street food vendors.

We always leave a few gaps for anyone that we might want to see once the reviews have come in.

I've booked Henning Wehn,

I'll go see Alex, if i can.

Now here’s a thing.

Henning Wehn and Alex are both on at the same venue (Venue number 88, Just The Tonic at The Caves).

Having said that, the venue is split into about 6 different rooms. Henning is on at 6.00pm in “Just the big room”, Alex is on at 13.20 in “Just up the road”.

I’m still working on my list. So much to see and only 3 nights/4 days to do it.

You are working the magic Carole, a veteran of The Fringe.

Think i'll go see Alex and stick around that bit for the afternoon til Henning.

I was planning on fitting in Arthur's Seat too at some point!?
