I remember a Monday morning speed trap in the '70s, just past Porlock Ave, where the verge widens and produces a nice hiding place - victims were being pulled over into the Church car-park as they were identified and reported to the booking crew down the road.It won’t make a bit of difference as people will still speed down Baswich Lane on their way to Saxonfields.
