What is baconnaise?

Sitting in a pub in London and most dishes on the menu include baconaise even the vegetarian ones.

Can't say I've seen it before and wondered what the ingredients actually are as my friend is a vegetarian and she only has bacon when she's very, very drunk or when she's got a mega hangover and I'm cooking brekkie.

It's ovo vegetarian - no bacon, but it does contain egg.

Not a fan of majo, but this is actually not too bad.

worth a try, Spoons have it on their menu for burgers / wraps etc.
