She's got even less chance of getting in than the local lad from last time. Pointless. It's disgusting that people from outside a constituency can represent them. Wtf does she know about anything in Stafford? She'll be as pointless as Lefroy whose only interest is lining his pocket and voting for what he wants to in parliament. Representing constituents? They have no clue what that means :(

Erm

Given the nation is now divided in two for at least a generation, how about partition?

And a quiff

If we have that snow again, it's all over.

Britons survive harshest winter ever thanks to panic buying for no deal brexit

Calor gas saves a nation . The baked bean winter of 18/19 as 2 metres of snow blankets Britain

Sign of the times, really.

There was once a time, after the boundary change that saw Cash scarper to Stone, and after Kidney took his place, twice - let's not forget that a young Cameron, David was parachuted in as the lost-cause Conservative candidate to a no-hope constituency - when Stafford was briefly a marginal seat.

Now that it isn't, the only surprising element in all this is that anyone should be surprised by it.

You always play to your strengths - the efficacy of the canditature is a 'tell' toward your overall strategy - you expect to lose Stafford so you play your weakest hand.

Stafford - where electoral dreams go to die.

I will reiterate what i'm almost sure i have said elsewhere - i have no Party affiliations whatsoever, except in one particular regard.

I have voted Labour, Liberal Democrat, Green, and 'Independent', over the course of my voting 'career'. I have never voted 'for' anything, i have only ever voted 'against' the Conservatives.

I have only ever voted 'tactically', and with the exception of 1997, i have never voted for a winning candidate.

Like, ever, even in local elections, European elections, you name it - tbf i voted for tek-monkey in both of the Police Crime Commissioner elections so was rather resigned to the fact that i wouldn't get my preference there - but seriously, only once have i ever been on the winning side.

This has never put me off. Coz, like, feck it, what?

I will always choose the candidate most likely to beat the Conservative.

The question is, who is that candidate in Stafford now?

Now?

It's an impossibility

Fear

People act on fear

Advertising thrives on it

Politicians try to install it

The news media succeed in spreading it

Demonise the alternatives to such an extent that even so called intelligent people believe that it's best to stick with a party that has systematically destroyed all that is good in life and with great calculation ensured that the extreme well off become even wealthier at the expense of everyone else

It works every time

Give up now

People are scared

Like you Withnail in the respect of who do I vote for at the next GE. I will not vote for Corbyn indirectly, I think Momentum are shitehawks. We have an opposition that doesnt oppose.
