Wanted ODBII Fault code reader

A few posts under my belt
Has anyone in Stafford got a ODBII Fault code reader? Not one of the cheap Bluetooth ones but a proper one? My vauxhall insignia has got a warning light on it and I'd like to see what the issue is without paying a garage £50 to diagnose it for me. I've got one of the cheapy Bluetooth ones but it's unable to read the code.

What's the warning light? The MIL light or another? Does he display read "service now" (it's not a routine service indicator).
Is it a petrol or diesel?
