You were there last night then yeah?

It's cinema snack food, fries, nacho's chicken strips, hot dogs etc...what did you expect? Heston Blumenthal to suddenly appear to make you a feast?

Personnally I thought th options were far better than those given by Vue....though you'd proably think thats shite too?

Were you expecting vegan options too? Though the nachos and salsa probably fit that description for you?

There were bottled and canned beer options too, Magners cider I noticed aswell.

Overall, quite impressed with the place. The iSense screen is superb! Staff friendly, though still getting up to speed, though I suspect by Wednesday they will be fine.

Well worth a visit, and will be going back.

I keep going into the Picturehouse to watch the films advertised on the walls but they're rarely on for some reason.

And when they are on there's always loads of people drinking beer as if it's a pub.

I don't see why anyone would expect a cinema situated in an area of eateries and decent pubs not far away to try to compete with them.

Perhaps there should be an establishment where you can drink what you want, eat what you want and watch what you want. Oh yeh that's it - home.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Cinemas are primarily for watching films. The food and drink options are just convenience food. If you want better quality food, go to a restaurant.
Don't think I've ever eaten cinema food. We even take our own sweets as cinema ones are so blooming expensive.

basil

don't mention the blinds
Went to see Bo Rhap last night, good news being concessions for the over 60s. So everyone on here should be able to take advantage of that......

Could all of this be just Disney ? …. or Science Fiction (not real SciFi, more like kiddies stuff) … as it was in 1978 ? :heyhey:

Triumph Herald - they used to disintegrate on impact but had really sensible engine access and a useful "emergency fuel lever". Still remember my Dads' - PFA 190
