I don't think Black text on a yellow background are legally enforceable they are just providing information to Road users so the people using this route are doing so legally. Although I can understand that it may be annoying to yourself there doing nothing wrong

So if the motorway is closing at night for roadworks, do you ignore the big yellow signs saying leave the motorway, and cite Stafford Forum?

I know I do

Never fails

They've actually put the big yellow sign too far round into Alliance Street. So by the time you've turned into road from the A34 to get back onto Eccleshall road, you're already too far down the road to bother turning round. It needs to be moved towards the opening of the road.

Yeah, whoever placed those signs isn't the sharpest tool in the box.

Back to the Councillor for his help me thinks!!!

What's been intertesting this week is how many of the cars are speeding, really speeding, the percentage is way more than the usual people who come down my road
So many are very big expensive powerful cars. Almost as if these people think the rules of society, obeying the rules of the road and having consideration for others don't apply to them.........who'd of thunk it!!

Well, someone's obviously listening to me as they've been moved further forward.
