Full-size today, but little of interest for me.

I did find a circular saw this time, still left-handed, but I can live with that for occasional use.

I’m left handed and honestly never considered that there would be left and right handed circular saws...

Until recent years, all portable electric circular saws were left-handed, for reasons of historical convenience. There are some right-handed cordless ones around these days, but they are still in the minority. There are very few mains ones that are right-handed - I've never seen one in 'real life'.

You just don't understand the problems we right-handed people have to put up with...

I've never actually used a right-handed one - I fear that it might overwhelm my capacity to cope with the left-handed variety.

Try one of the right-handed ones in B&Q and you'll see what we have to put up with.

Yay! The Stone Road Car Boot was back on today !
It’s been rained off for the past four weeks. I was getting ‘Car Boot Cold Turkey’. I was reduced to looking for church hall Bring & Buy sales - anything to get a fix - but not getting the same hit. Man I was bad. I didn’t realise how far I’d fallen until I woke up in an alley one morning behind a church clutching a jar of homemade pickle and a Barbara Cartland novel.

I ventured up there this morning, more out of a sense of duty than anything else, not being confident there would even be anything there at all, but there was quite a turnout.

It was a bit chilly in the wind, though, and some sellers were clearly suffering.

Nothing for me, but some items of interest - a great selection of Stilson wrenches around the place...

I would say that the noise level has subsided quite a bit over the last few years, particularly with the absence of the shouty meat and (two) veg men, and a distinct reduction in bouncy castle facilities.

The first parting of Sterling cash since mid-March produced a couple of nice items.

The forged stainless steel hand-fork will be treated to a new handle at some point, but the one on the pentagonal tapered reamer is redeemable, It think.
