I've consulted a Medium about the outcome of Brexit.

She rose to her feet screaming: "Are you taking the f****** **** … ? " then burst out laughing and dropped dead.

Clearly she didn't see that coming ….. ( and I still haven't got my two quid back !!!)

So what are peoples thoughts on Johnsons plan? I'm thinking throw the DUP under the bus at the last minute and basically go with May's deal with minor changes to the backstop.

Anyone who begins his blog with possibly the best example of "data visualisation" gets my respect.

"Many bigshot traditional advertising characters told us we were making a huge error. They were wrong. It is one of the reasons we won. We outperformed the IN campaign on data despite them starting with vast mounts of data while we started with almost zero, they had support from political parties while we did not, they had early access to the electoral roll while we did not, and they had the Crosby/Messina data and models from the 2015 election while we had to build everything from scratch without even the money to buy standard commercial databases (we found ways to scrape equivalents off the web saving hundreds of thousands of pounds)."

Dominic Cummings is as worthy of your respect as is Pol Pot.

I mean it must be high or low...

Pol Pot might not be active in the 'blogosphere', what with being dead and all, and he may or may not have been big on 'data visualisation', but like him Cummings is a 'Year Zero' ist, and should thus be regarded with extreme caution.

And today's ruling just showed how stupid Labour were yesterday.
I rather like Labour's position, and don't see it as illogical at all. Shortly after Emily Thornberry explained it on Question Time, I even went as far as saying I saw the logic in it in public rather than anonymously (cough) on an internet forum.

The Tories have grabbed "We're Leaving !!!"; the LibDems and the nationalists have grabbed "We're Staying (and no EURef2) !!!"; the only thing for Labour to grab is "We're having another Referendum !!!".

I'm pretty easy to track down if you want to rid me of my anonymity.

As I understood it, they've said they will remain neutral until they win the next election. I don't believe they can win the next election on that basis.

I would prefer us to stay in by way of a referendum, but at this stage believe the only party I can vote for is LIb Dems.

I was meaning my anonymity, but anyway ....

I liken Labour's position to deciding with my wife that we might need something - say getting a scratch fixed on the car. I go out and the guy in the paint shop says it'll cost me £200. I say "that's more than I had in mind. Would you do it for £150?". "I can't go that low" comes the reply - "tell you what - I'll do it for £180".

So I come back home and say to the missus "The guy wanted £200 initially but I did my best and negotiated a lower price, and he said he'd take £180. Not sure I'd want it at that price though. What d'you think?"

I have to agree. While I think the entire ordeal of Brexit is incredibly shortsighted and a bad idea, outright revoking is just going to cause uproar. They should at least attempt to hash out a deal even if it's a bad one - just so they can say they've tried.

The problem is that (if there's a possibility that you may not recommend your deal), it's a dreadful position to negotiate from.

To quote Sly Stallone's Judge Dredd … "The low, is the low." (Personally I think Karl Urban's version was far superior. I'd give Boris 10 years in the isocubes, with time added for bad behaviour.) :|
