How Brexit marks the end of the British story

Whatever the outcome of the Brexit debacle - whether the UK leaves the EU or remains in it, or soon returns to it, or survives as 'the UK', or splits into two or three separate states - the debacle itself is already a mark of closure, an ending, to something that has been integral to one major stream of British self-identity.

BoZo had the audacity to hint at some 'Making Britain Great Again' trope, even though he was too mealy-mouthed to use the actual words, almost as if he knew he was taking the piss even as he said it.

We have truly reached the bottom.

In many ways i'm actually quite glad that Brenda has been dragged out of her chamber to spill her lack of any actual dignity on it all.

Sort of interesting though, in a dinosaur looking at the sky and saying 'What the f*** is that ?' sort of way. :teef:

If your assets are worth 750k plus you'll cope OK with option 1

If your asset are 1.25m plus you'll cope with 2

If you have a mortgage and/or rely on employment to live day to day then option 3 would work for you

Take Back Control they said
