YEEESSSSS. England through to the Final. It would be great if Wales could get through their semi-final tomorrow.

The whole thing has been brilliant, well hosted by Japan. It is a pity that Japan didn't get further, they played a very entertaining open, running game.

England were excellent today. Totally dominant from the first minute (apart from that lineout).

Wales? Even as a Welshman, I'm not confident. Our performance against France was atrocious; embarrassing. I felt sorry for the French, let down by one moment of stupidity. And their kicking, and that scrum close to the Welsh posts.

Just listened to a 5-minute interview with Mark Carter, the Commercial Director of Stafford Rugby Club, on Radio 5 Live (the Emma Barnett show, presented today by Chris Warburton - fast forward to 11:17).

Obviously the opening of the club got a mention, as did the 2000 members incl 450 juniors, and the 4 womens/girls teams.

With a full English on offer, it sounds like the place to be if you want a crowd atmosphere in which to enjoy the final (I don't).

It wouldn't be long until they start the drinking games...

i watched the semi final in Kenneys and I was the only one in there. Very surprised because it is a cracking venue for sports.

Toss up this morning whether to watch it at Eccy cricket club (bacon sarnies) or The George. Uncertain about breakfast arrangements but nearer to Mrs T's hairdressers where she's spending the morning.

Stafford rangers have a breakfast club and they will be showing it so you can enjoy a lovely breakfast while watching us smash South Africa.
