Stafford Western Access Route.

I'm not convinced that this will do anything but move the bottle neck elsewhere for those attempting to navigate to or from the Northern part of town. And it certainly won't do anything for those trying to get past Tesco in order to reach the more temperate Southern and Eastern climes.

I do hope, however, that I am proved very wrong on this, once everything is up and running.

Agree, horrible vision of traffic using the Lichfield & Wolverhampton Rd's, but wanting to avoid the town centre, using Silkmore Lane, and then West Way, to get onto the New Road, leading to a big increase in traffic, on a very busy estate (Over used, imho) road, that is rendered 1 lane, due to legally parked vehicles! Recipe for disaster. As you say, hope I am wrong, and being over pessimistic. ( As usual, Ed )

I would hope that some of the land that saint gobain was on can be reused for manufacturing/ industrial use. If we want to quicken journeys to work we need workplaces to remain near where people live.

Going be used for housing, isn't it?

Going be used for housing, isn't it?

Only four hundred and thirty houses though

More of a large cul de sac then anything else

one road in, same road out

Don't worry though, the planning committee are bound to have stipulated that everyone must retain a front lawn to help prevent flooding

Won't they?
