buying as new bed?

I steer clear of the big names like dreams and try to use independent places where possible.

Wouldn't believe a word of what comes out of those sales people's gobs.
They will lie through their back teeth to get their commission.

...and most of it is crap anyway.

I've had a bed from Courts, Dreams and The Bed Centre down Rowley St. The best one was Dreams. Only got rid of it because I wanted a bigger bed.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Are you still camped out at the N.E.C? You're turning into a proper David Essex wanna-be travelling round in that van, best start learning his songs....
Indeed stuck at the NEC until Sunday evening, even missing the match Sunday afternoon because of it.

David Essex my arse...

I'm sure they all stock some good stuff sometimes.
I just wouldn't trust to believe anything thier reps try to tell you and use my own judgement.

We bought our super king sized bed (and bedding for it), from Dreams, but slung the guarantee away when the Stafford store closed, as I assumed they had closed nationwide.
Luckily all still going strong ..

My sister has a lovely carved wooden super king sized four poster bed. her son (known as littleshit) bought it for her birthday and Christmas last year. Along with bedside tables and a couple of chest of drawers. He later decided it wasn't quite enough, so he got her a complete dining room suite, table. sideboard etc. Keep telling him i'm his favourite Aunty, but he hasn't taken the hint yet.

He doesn't sound like a littleshit to me.

Rich-little-shit?
Works hard, saves loads. Unfortunately, like a lot of folk these days, my sister and her husband had to go to work when he was a baby. So my mum brought him up, them taking over when they came home in an evening.
It wasn't till mum died, 12½yrs ago that they started to become close.

I think he's making up for lost time.

And on that Super king sized four poster, she has an electric blanket, makes it all the more inviting.
