Been puzzling as to who it was had a band called the Cavemen, think it might have been Tommy Steele

No - Steelmen - but he did have a *"Caveman" song.

Ok. Getting somewhere now. Seems it was originally Tommy Hicks & The Cavemen (Lionel Bart & Mike Pratt). He then changed his name to Tommy Steele and "Rock with the Cavemen" was recorded with the original Cavemen plus various jazz musicians including Ronnie Scott & renamed as the Steelmen.

Drove to sons house to wait in for his fridge freezer. Tried my best to prop things against yet another of his fence panels that started breaking in the storm whilst I was there, only just paid nearly 300 quid for the other 3 that came down last weekend :(

Discovered what the newly discovered switch high up in the downstairs loo does...... sets the burglar alarms off. :o

I thought me & hubby could make use of sons good 18 month old fridge, as our ancient one is playing up.. So got son to struggle getting it into the back of my small car , and had a horrendous journey back with it (at least with it weighing the car down it stopped me blowing off the motorway).

Got a moaning hubby to help get it out of the car (I carried the plug ..... ) and into the house........to husbands delight :blah:, and my horror :o, it doesn't fit anywhere. Going to have to clear the garage out tomorrow and hope it fits in there :hmm:

Now got a fridge sitting in the middle of the lounge tonight
