The Holly Bush at Salt is on there? That used to be really good, not been in nearly a decade though!

Same-ish, the parents rave about it, but last time I went (about 5yrs ago) it was terrible.

Was there a couple of weeks ago.
Very good food, service, price and ale.
Couldn't fault it on the night.

I've been to the Hollybush a couple of times in the last twelve months. Neither visit was particularly memorable either way. I think I had the steak and ale pie, but really can't be sure.

ETA Yup, went twice recently - in September with my mum and again in late November with the in-laws. The meals were fine - no complaints, and pretty much to the standard we've always expected there.

That might have something to do with licensee Geoff Holland suffering from cancer for three years before passing away recently and his son Joe, who had been licensee, passing away three years ago.
