It seems a lot of effort, when you can just carefully save some packaging and slip a few bits at a time into one of the freezers.

I've just been shopping here for the first time in a month. I waited until nine o'clock, which is always a good idea, anyway.

They had everything I went for, although the place looked like it had been ram-raided.

It was quite civilised otherwise, just six or eight customers.

Last week i put a bottle of hand sanitiser in the Gents.

I went for a piss less than 15 minutes later and found that the bottle had been nicked.

I personally think we have reached peak arsehole, and we are actually sliding down the other side of the curve.

People are genuinely much better than what you think they might be when you are gloomy.

I was in at the weekend. No pasta, flour, yeast and very low stock of anything in a tin. Most fresh meat was gone too, was quite odd.

The Somalian locust swarms have hit Lidl, much emptier than it was on Monday night. No bakery items or flour, only very limited caster and icing sugar, etc...

Five packs of kitchen rolls and notices about maximum purchase on some of the (empty) cleaning product shelves.

I got everything that I really went for, though. All £10:74 worth.

They had even sold the last two bottles of Corona that were looking forlorn on Monday.

They are already well past double on this month's figures...

I wonder if they might run out of till rolls?

I went into B & M this morning and bought the following:
A big bag of bird seed. A bag of suet nuggets for the birds. The last six bottles of Desperadoes Beer.

I feel guilty now because I've probably started a run on Desperadoes Beer ... :teef:

:pint:

The end of the world really will be upon us if there's a run on Desperadoes beer. Yuk!

Sainsbury's have closed the cafe, bakery, and counters to avoid contact, maybe lidl will stop the bakery too?
