Alas the symmetry was lost more than 30 years ago with the removal of right kneecap. I knew I would never play the knobbly knees contest on Blackpool Beach again .. :(

@Carole
I'm hoping this link will work here, Villager Jim has online jigsaws which anyone can do.
I created an account, don't know if you'd have to. And I hope the link works here x

The link worked for me.
Thank you so much @Glam for thinking of me.
I did have a look and give it a try.

However, I’m going to be honest here.
I’m more of a touchy feely person.

At the moment I’ve got a jigsaw on the go. I love to pick up a piece, hold it in my hand, pick up the box, look and see where it might go.
When the jigsaw is complete, I take pleasure in running my hand over it, I can feel the joy in my finger tips.

It’s the same with a book.
Some people like reading, and some people like books.
Absolutely no way, will anyone convince me to read on a kindle or a device.
The joy of reading, for me, is the look of a book, the smell of a book, the pleasure of holding it.

but honestly I really appreciate the thought x

I totally agree, love doing that myself. But in the absense of new jigsaws, it'll do me xx

Edit - There is now way on this earth I will use a Kindle either, love the feel and smell of a book.

We are still talking jigsaws here right?

.

Just had a thought though @Glam

I usually donate my jigsaws to the church sale (we’ve got a village swop thing going on) with people donating a few pounds to church.

But if you tell me what you like, I’m happy to post you something. Mine are mostly 500 pieces but there are some 1000 pieces in our stock.

It would be my pleasure to post something, (no charge) just to say thank you for being a key worker and doing a brilliant job.

The weather has been less than helpful lately, and I've been rather under-the-weather, too - no, not 'that', or that...

Anyway, today was a perfect day and I had largely recovered, so another flower bed was (largely) cleared, just two more about the same size to do now....

I have a few self-seeded things around the place that can fill the gaps.

Mr Shield Bug kept an eye on me all day.

The speakers have had their connections established and a trial run was performed, taking the wires off the Chalet's indoor speakers. They performed excellently, the units are coaxial and probably capable of more than my ears can receive now. The ports were worth doing, covering them does reduce the 'body' of the sound. I just need to mount them and run the wiring now.

I am shortly due for my "exercise radius" to be extended to 5km, which will be nice.
