when the lockdown is lifted nobody will force you to leave your home. if you don't think it's appropriate you can continue your life in lockdown.
This comment beggars belief in it’s ignorance, selfishness and total lack of respect for others.
I’m guessing
@cj1 that you are young and healthy, quite happy to take the risk of getting it because you might just be ill for a week or two, not much chance of dying?
Would you be so keen to get back to work if you caught it then you had a very high risk of dying?
Because you are ok, you don’t mind others dying?
Do you have any idea how callous you sound?
When/ If the lockdown is lifted there are going to be thousands of people in a terrible dilemma.
People who aren’t on the scrap heap, who do valuable work (currently from home) respected members of society.
People who may have a condition such as heart problems, diabetic, had a transplant.
People who are now vulnerable and can’t suddenly work in an office, go to a canteen for lunch, sit on a train, go to meetings.
I don’t know what the answer is, but what I do know is this.
Writing off huge swathes of the community is massively lacking in basic humanity.
