To use a term with such a well defined, and generally understood, meaning, in such an unorthodox way, can only have been intended to draw attention to it, and thus invite further discussion of its usage.

It worked.

So it's got that going for it, which is nice.

Order ready confirmation was by Email.
Second order was from Telford branch as Stafford didn't have what I wanted in stock.

Council have taken this opportunity to make the Tech Park ring road one way

Which is great to be honest, was getting real tired of the incoming traffic issues when the road is clogged with parked cars

A34 from Redhill to Stone appears to have been resurfaced with those giant sharp chippings. Road in other direction still dangerously covered in potholes. So much for encouraging cycling.

Gravel bikes are the in thing nowadays....I think they are just catering for that demand!!

There's been abundance of numpties doing the rounds, today.
Big boys with big exhausts making a big noise! Big deal!
The current climate means we've had lower sound levels and me working in the garden office, I am hearing every single rev on the lower Doxey Road and central area. From the direction of the sound I'd say some are doing laps and some must be going there and back to see how far it is!!

Weather like this is going to get people out in their weekend cars for a drive. Not really a big deal thought is it.

I'd say if you created a poll and asked people to listen to it all day long you wouldn't have many saying "Oh, that's nice. People having fun. I'll open the window, wider!"
Having a blast on Motorways, country roads or open highways is one thing. Defending blatant noise and air pollution at this moment doesn't make you look good - in my humble opinion.

I can guarantee you that the number of high days and holidays cars and motorbikes making a noise near my house will be far greater than yours on a sunny weekend, yet strangely life goes on in an ungrumpy way.

Hey ho...

@gilbert grape I don't know if you heard the scrotes last night, Sat in the queue for the lights on the main road, revving the boll**ks off their bikes, and cars then they raced as fast as they could up the Doxey Road, only to come back 5 minutes later to repeat it all. Must have done that 8-9 times or more. Makes you wish you had 1 of them stinger things.

It blended in with the rest of the day but apparently it's ok. "Noting to see, here!" We had no litter pollution, then people were let free and it's everywhere. We had relative silence and people are let free and it's even more noticeable. There's currently somebody who sounds like they are lapping our block for the hell of it.
We had the chance to change, but, nahhhhh stuff it.

That's a different matter and bang out of order.
