Stafford shops closing - Turning into a ghost town?

Run and ride do gait analysis as do the highly recommended alpha sports in Lichfield.

If we don't support the little stores we soon won't have them. Always buy my runners at run and ride. Happy to pay more to get the service!
Until today I didn't even know where they were! Sign above the shop still says Kirklands, I hadn't looked in the window for a while. We did look at their website but they had very limited brands available (3) and I suspected (as proven) that I'd need support. Do they have more instore than they show online?

the store is rubbish. I have no time for half hearted attempts at retail, they cannot even be bothered to change the signage.

Not really. Scott, hoka one one and a couple of others I think. Great customer service though if the brands they have fit. I adore Scott runners so run and ride are perfect for me!

There's a bit of a disconnect given that @tek-monkey is taking about running gear and you're talking about bike stuff.

If you're wanting bike stuff then their showroom in Milford (the old mammoth place) had a much larger range.

In regards to the signage I believed they were quoted in the region of 5-10k to put a sign in which is why they haven't proceeded. Their Milford place was burgled a few weeks back which was a pity.

They need to get better quotes. A decent sign that size would cost under £1k. I had one-slightly bigger that was illuminated for just over £1.5k and if they wanted that they would need planning permission.

If that. We had a big plastic sign cut to a rather annoying shape and mounted for a few hundred

Someone tell them to speak to Three Fish.

Enjoying a drop of red.
The Butterknife seems to have been gutted internally, so is unlikely to be reopening.

Couldn't see that coming.
