"Dear customers,

It is with great sadness that I have made the decision to temporarily close Thawa Bridge after business tonight Sunday 29th March.
This decision was thought out in consultation with all the staff and my family
I have to put the health of my staff and customers first and this is why with a heavy heart we are temporarily closing. I don’t know for how long it will be,but my intention is to OPEN up again as soon as possible.
I think the world of all of my customers and class you all as friends. I really enjoy my work and take a pleasure in pleasing customers and families alike and this creates a bond and friendship with family members of all generations which I take a great pleasure from.
I would like to thank you all for your custom throughout the years. Your kindness is like no other ❤️

So, I decided to sneak out for a slightly belated celebration of @Keemanan 123 go's third birthday of the year.

I thought it might be quiet so early on in the evening, but it was good to see the place as busy as is humanly possible under the current restrictions.

Onion bhajis, followed by a chicken thawa and pilau rice. That's me sorted until early Saturday, I think...

Hi I’m doing an eat out to help out scheme similar to that the government one we did in August but this time without the government help. Please see terms and conditions* on my Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/Thawa-Bridge-Indian-Restaurant-108755839808302/ - and like it to receive up to date information.
The offer is for Wednesday’s only. Bookings only.
Every Wednesday during the month of September and October only. See you there

* Wednesday’s only / bookings only
Minimum of 2 people, max 6 people per booking
No discounts on soft drinks
You can still bring your own alcohol
You can still choose from the main menu
If you order starter which has fish/king prawns/lamb tikka £2 extra
If you order a main dish which has fish/king prawns/lamb tikka £3 extra.
It’s still a bargain and it’s good from a business point of view and a customer point to help the process of confidence back into restaurant dining.
I look forward to your support as always. Bookings now being taken.

If I have to pay it means Real have won so happy to do so. Viva Ronaldo.

Sorry, I can't make Saturday so I'll have to come for my free meal at a later date. Plus I'm not very good watching scousers crying into their curries :)

Does YNWA mean You Never Win Anything or have you just misspelt YAWN :)
