don't mention the blinds
Seeing and hearing the people I saw today , I definitely don't trust some customers to stick to the rules in the pubs.
( Driving back home from my Tesco Click & Collect today, was observing people especially whilst sitting at traffic lights. Not much social distancing going on at all , including a couple of old ladies I saw whilst sat at St Leondards lights, talking only inches from each other faces, discussing how many friends they had met during lockdown . Seemed a bit pointless one of them wearing one plastic glove and carrying the other..)

I shall also choose our pubs carefully when we do venture on a night out.

I'd trust pubs more like the micro pub by the Grapes (Can't remember the name) , which had amazingly spotless and well equiped toilets each time we went in before, rather ones like my local whose toilets are in a disgusting state normally .

The micro pub you refer to is the Floodgate, sadly it will not be reopening post lockdown ......

many breweries havent been brewing and can you get draught real ale delivered and conditioned in time

A lot of the local breweries have been brewing throughout the lockdown for their own takeaway sales and to supply pubs doing takeaways. These include Morton, Slaters, Izaak Walton, Lymestone, Titanic, Peakstones, Quartz, Backyard, Blythe, Vine Inn, Burton Town, Heritage & Burton Bridge. Beowulf restarted brewing about 2 weeks ago. Slater's, Lymestone & Titanic pubs should have real ale from the start, and try your local freehouse.

Can people let me know when they see a pub that has reopened, and any that look to have closed permanently - Floodgate probably won't be the only one.

Apart from going for family meals, the last time I went to the pub for a drink, was at @Gramaisc birthday party!.... And that was HOW many years ago?

:toot:
Well that needs to be rectified!!
Agreed. Trouble is, i'm such an introvert, i'll sit there, soon as someone even smiles an acknowledgement, i'll probably burst into tears and look such a berk.

That must have been 2016 . I read about the surprise party for @Gramaisc , that I hadn't been invited to , whilst sitting on a balcony in Majorca. I was most upset at the time that I didn't even know about it!
(Hoping I was just an over-sight when the meet-up was being arranged, rather than intentionally missed off the guest list ....)

I dont drink , but thats one party i wont miss :D
would be nice to meet a few of you ;)
