I've been watching her on streaming TV in the White Princess, the daughter of Edward IV Elizabeth of York. When Henry VII overthrew the Plantagenets (with less of a claim to the throne than I have ...) he decided to marry her to re-unite the Houses of York and Lancaster following decades of civil war (which later became known as the 'Wars of the Roses.' This struggle formed the basis of 'Game of Thrones.')
The marriage was a bit fiery by this account.
It's probably historically questionable, a sort of 'Dallas' set in the Middle Ages. She plays the part well though.

I've been watching Only When I Laugh - it was never my favourite example of Mr Bolam's work, but it is actually a good bit better than I remember it, having last seen it forty years ago...

The chap I worked with was a great fan of it, having been hospitalised for a long period in his early twenties.

I did have a break in the sequence last night, watching History of the World (Part 1) in honour of the 94th birthday of Mel Brooks.

Thers something about being hospitalised, and made to watch stuff that you normally wouldn't want to that's very strange, I would never have watched Big Brother if I had the choice... Equally I was forced to watch Corronation Street, something I've never repeated, and has scarred me for life.

We’ve been watching Little Fires Everywhere. Watched 8 episodes over 3 nights.

I’d only recently finished the book by Celeste Ng which I thoroughly enjoyed. The tv series wasn’t exactly the same as the book but very watchable, felt emotionally drained by the end of it though.

Ahhhh Riverway Island, the Weston Road and the The Gate Pub. My memories of living in Littleworth (the Beverly Hills of Stafford) before I got found out as a plebeian Rec kid and sent packing. :P

Found a series of “Scarborough” that we’d recorded and forgotten about.

Brilliant stuff and written by Derren Litten who wrote Benidorm.

Having said that, it didn’t get commissioned for a second series so not everyone loved it.

The TV series of 'Fargo.' Very much in the style of the Cohen Brother's film. Billy Bob Thornton plays the strangest hitman you're likely to see ... even for a Coen Brothers inspired drama.
