I agree with Mudgie on this one, I'd rather see one thread for a topic than many. It may be an old thread but unless you're going to start dating each one they'll be a bugger to track in years to come.

It's interesting to see how things change, too.

The truly popular pubs of forty years ago are almost all gone from the licensed trade now, if the buildings even still exist.

No, I've used the Coach and Horses three times this year, most recently on Thursday 20th February

Ah ok fair enough. And it was £2 for a pint of 6X?

Not that the price would tempt me to stay for a drink but may be useful if frequenting an eatery over the road.

Yes, £2 for a pint of 6X.
Other town centre pubs with beer at a similar price are Yates, Hogarths and of course the Picture House and Butlers Bell.
