It's a bit like the Butterknife cafe. Goodness knows how many cafes have failed in that location before, but it's got to be worth opening up a new cafe there, surely. So the gym will become a gym? Brave move considering how many have failed there.

Au the much heralded food court. Clearly they don't have a big name food outlet given the announcement of "pop up food retailers".Excitement at the Guildhall.

Equally even when I had the boy with me and it never seemed enough of a treat compared to say 'The little Dessert Shop' was after work. I'm sure it could have found something that worked, maybe the next people who give it a go will find a way forward that works...
I think that was the aspiration - but poorly executed in the face of very accomplished competition.Butterknife gave the feeling of a dessert and cake shop to me, but their dessert offerings were incredibly basic to be honest.
Sounds like the "food court" will actually just be a Druckers typertype outfit in the same area, a bit disappointed tbh.Au the much heralded food court. Clearly they don't have a big name food outlet given the announcement of "pop up food retailers".
I hope they realise that the point of a food court is giving people options and not just having one or two at a push...
Ah, the old 'never mind the quality, feel the width' approach.Sounds like the "food court" will actually just be a Druckers typertype outfit in the same area, a bit disappointed tbh.
The old Waterstones should have never closed, but might become a spar, just guessing here, but that's the only one springing to mind, the old jjb will probably be the charity shop, the hair dressers will probably take the units nearest the market, that only leaves about one spare unit.
I think that the Guild Hall *used* to be a decent shopping mall until the 'Credit Crunch' crash*. Since then it has been 'any old shit as long as we get a rent' type of mall.Ah, the old 'never mind the quality, feel the width' approach.
I didn't even know that the old gym had closed.
Yep! It’s not to badAnyone here been to the new Homesense store on Queens yet?
