In the shower , bathroom door starts opening , didn't see hubby with works headset on as I shouted loudly "What's up? Do you want a wee? " to everyone including the big, big boss over in Germany listening in
Instead of coming to warn me to be silent as he was in an important meeting , would have been better risking me treating everyone to my background 'shower singing' in the distance...

Know we are lucky that he was able to be set up to work from home and keep his job in these strange times. But will be glad when all this virus thing is over , he can get moved back into the office , no more creeping around, and I can make my cuppas without taking the noisy kettle upstairs to boil.

I have my radio on and don't use a headset for video calls at all. I can faintly hear the OH talking on a call he's on, but they'd never hear that.
His boss asked if he was by an airport the other day as he could hear what sounded like a plane taking off....the washing machine or dryer was on at the time . Been asked a few times by customers if he has children as they can hear the noisy kids screaming in the house over the back . (They are bloody loud though !)
His boss hasn't moaned, just hubby can't hear half the time when I'm clattering around (the more I try to be quiet, the more I drop and bang things).
He's hoping to hang onto his job (which he's done for over 29 years and loves) for another 3 years until he retires. Suppose I'd better practice being a bit quieter and improve my awful singing...
Off to do our bit for the economy again tonight with another meal out. I'll be forgetting how to cook at this rate !
I miss this. After the most frustrating day ever at work (from home) today I decided to go up the chase with Bee to let off a bit of steam.
A family of 3 deer were standing on the path ahead and I got Bee to lay down and was just about to shoot all 3 deer (with my camera, of course) when one of the idiots who’d been bugging me all day decided it was a good time to call me!!!!
The deer heard the phone and legged it, grrrr!!
I just managed to take this one from my phone camera but it wasn’t the picture I should have had.

It's all his desktop computer,Sounds like he just needs a better headset to be honest, anything over about £30 will cope with background noise fairly well. One of my staff spent about that on his headset and can barely hear me when I call across the office to him.
I assume he's not running a relatively new gaming PC or anything...? There's a rather nice noise cancellation package out there but it only works with fairly new machines.
It's all his desktop computer,
phones, headsets etc installed from his office. Got a headset for team talks etc and one for phone calls. ( All with a wifi call package on contract for all the office )
I miss this.
Did you pull up that ragwort before you went home ?After the most frustrating day ever at work (from home) today I decided to go up the chase with Bee to let off a bit of steam.

Although I'm glad to see it will only be open till 8pm, the last few times it's been here they've ended up closing early due to lack of customers, or on some days not opening at all.
