Places of worship you say? So why can't I take my seat at Old Trafford at the moment?
It's about a palm width above the waistline, and very very slightly to the right. Feels like someone us constantly pushing a fist into my back at an angle. Is it lower or upper? The only thing that stops my sciatica, which stems from my lower back, is moving all the time.
Consider your seating arrangements at home...It's about a palm width above the waistline, and very very slightly to the right. Feels like someone us constantly pushing a fist into my back at an angle.
Original diagnosis was sciatica, but (micats over the phone) think its mechanical. (?), I usually manage about 15 - 20,000 steps at work on an average day, but I've had a few days off & been a sloth, only hitting 4,000 at the most, which I think is to blame, my own fault....
Suffering.
I've had bad back pain since last October, the tablets prescribed make me vomit (codeine), but with physiotherapy I thought I was on top of controlling it (excersizes, paracetamol, ibuprofen).
Seems not, I've got as a few days off work, been really lazy and i am now back to agony...
I've got deep heat patches stuck all over me, but anyone else have any other suggestions to help, other than the obvious hot bath, painkillers, deep heat.... It would be much appreciated....
Do not keep a tube of Deep Heat in the bathroom.
Do not take the risk of accidentally cleaning your teeth with it.
I can still taste it - and it will have been around 1990...
Just had an email from the Gatehouse, our rescheduled Henning Wehn tickets (20th September) are being cancelled again, its not clear if its another re-schedule, or a cancel, they've said another email will follow with more details, and an opportunity to ask for a refund.I got an email from the Gatehouse to re-schedue the Henning Wehn show on March 19th. It included the following message from Henning:
Dear Friends Of German Comedy,
You might have expected this email.
I regret to inform you that all upcoming performances of the Get On With It tour have been postponed. For the time being it’s very much a case of Not Getting On With It.
The current outbreak of hysteria combined with the Prime Minister’s suggestion to lock yourself away for good, have sadly left the theatres in no position to remain open.
Every effort is made to reschedule the shows for August/September. Just don’t expect to go to a restaurant before or a pub after the show, as they’ll all be out of business by then.
Ah well, never mind, there’ll always be an England.
Really sorry once again and we’ll meet again. Don’t know where, don’t know when, but I know we’ll meet again some sunny day.
Stay safe and enjoy your time off!
Henning

I had emailed asking how I go about having a refund a few weeks ago, as I still don't feel safe or happy about attending at the moment.
*edit I think @Carole & someone else, also had tickets... If anyone remembers who...
