I was 8.

Hubby is put out. He asked if I fancied chips, I didn't. He now has salad, new potatoes and some spicy stir fried beef. I've asked how it is, not chips is the reply. Oops.

Got home quite late last night after the journey from hell down from loch Ness. By the time we'd reached Tebay services, my hours were up and Mrs p had to take over, including driving in the dark which she hates.

Today has been spent mucking out the RV before I take it back to work tomorrow. The front is the worst insect graveyard I've seen in about 20 years. Will give something for the lads to do when they get back to work in September.

Had a great walk on the Chase earlier. First walk on there in several weeks. I've missed it. Back off to the seaside as soon as the weather looks like it might be ok up there.

Does he not have the option of cooking/buying some himself if he really wants some?
I told him he could order some for himself and Spawn2 to make up the minimum. He used his martyr voice and said no 'cause I didn't want any. So it's his own fault he doesn't have chips lol.
He's admitted now that it was 'alright I suppose' now.

Yeah, the carer sneaks bags of chips from the chippy while I'm at work, then hides the evidence on the outside bin.... Minime always grasses him up.... Not sure why he hides them, I don't like chips!

We're being warned to batten down the hatches down this way given the weather that's coming over the next couple of days.

Today was the second time in a fortnight that I have had to produced photo id. On neither occasion was I asked to remove my facemask.
Today, I realised that in Asda, on the self scan machines, they film you through the whole transaction.... I was only made aware of this when I spotted teeny timey me in the top right hand corner of the scanner screen (glaring at myself) , and another in a ipad sized screen above the main scanning screen.

Brilliant! I really wanted to ask the assistant all about it, as I have a vested interest in this sort of thing, but didn't want to look like sone kind of masked serial robber either... Minime informed me later that they have these in mini Tesco on Stone Rd too.... I really should get out more.

I've had to ID several people lately, and ask them to remove their face covering, it's not worth (to, me) the massive fine I will get (not the store, me, up to £5,000 and 6 months in prison), the loss of my job, and the possible criminal action I may face if I serve someone under age...... I dreaded the usual arsey behaviour or refusal I get, but all people have obliged and been very light hearted about it.

A sincere 'thank you' to everyone who has done this, and not chosen to make a scene during this turbulent time... You have every single time, made my day.
