So not everyone's put off by the "eye-watering" prices ( up to £8 for a can I've heard - and they're little ones not Party Sevens ! ) ?
Experienced?!
Candid and the whole Woodings Yard complex is one of the best things to happen to Stafford in a long time.

The price of cans / drinks range from £3.50 up to £8 or £9, so some are quite cheap.
I appreciate that not everyone is willing to pay those prices but I enjoy drinking quality drinks rather than the mass produced rubbish that most pubs now serve. If people want to buy cheap beer there is plenty of choice for them.
I've never spent that much on the beer there (although there are some at that level). You're getting a very wide variety of beers and to be honest I've never had a bad one there. So not everyone's put off by the "eye-watering" prices ( up to £8 for a can I've heard - and they're little ones not Party Sevens ! ) ?
There is a separate thread for the devil's taphouseI've heard it's being reopened by someone experienced in running a large high street pub not far away.
Yes, a good selection of low/zero alcohol beer but they average £4.40 a pint. And they always have a good selection of low/zero alcohol beer...

And what's that compared to the price of your bog standard low/zero stuff in a pub (ie Beck's blue?) Not that much of difference I'd wager....Yes, a good selection of low/zero alcohol beer but they average £4.40 a pint.
Have we changed from naming crap beers to naming crap pubs now or have I missed something?
There are over a hundred thread titles containing the word 'beer', including this generic, all-encompassing one:-And why are we doing this in a thread that is meant to be about Candid Beer?
I'm quite excited, we're going for the first time ever for lunch tomorrow since the food truck du jour has a range of veggie / vegan options - Love the plans for Candid Canteen too (mmm, wood fired pizza)
