I think your son was pining to come and see his Mum really :)

He'd have had been horrified if we'd have jumped on the same train on a day out to London ourselves , and tagged along behind them because we didn't know where to go.

Still trying to plan something to do this week whilst hubby is still off work. :hmm:

Put a pan on the ring of the cooker, ready to tip the beans in for tea later.

About to tip beans in when I notice a speck of something in the bottom of the pan.

Decide to use middle finger to remove speck.

Quickly find out that the ring under the pan had been on heat 6, for 20 minutes.

Icepack now attached to finger.

Worked the last 2 nights, was looking forward to a lovely long sleep. But no, My Hermes were going to deliver a parcel today and if I went to bed I would definitely miss it. So I took a throw and pillow and went to doze on the settee.
Expecting it to be the larger of the packages I was waiting on, I didn't want to risk him/her/it leaving it by the wheelie bin to be nicked.
10 o'clock and the letterbox goes, the tiniest of tiny plastic envelopes lands on the mat, a keyring. Still dozing on the settee, eyes held open with matchsticks, I decided to Fire up the Quattro (Laptop) at 12.30 to see where my parcel was. It had been successfully delivered at 10am. The envelope size of a Post It note was what I'd stayed awake for. So peed off right now.

Thought the Co-op carpark was rather empty as we walked past earlier. ....

Heard it's closed because of break- in last night and got no power because theives cut it to disable alarms.
Apparently 2 men found in bushes, sniffed out by police dog.

What if the men in the bushes, were nothing to do with the robbery?

After reading an article about 35 years of the Broom Cupboard I'm singing Maid Marian songs. The OH doesn't remember them. This may be the end of us.
Divorce is imminent for you.

I sent Philip Scholfield a letter & he replied with a signed photo, although I must of been a teen by then.... Sadly lost now.

For those that don't know....

I have the DVDs, he will be being educated when we go home, and given we're not married I know I'll be able to keep the cat.

I vividly remember being in geography and the whole class singing along to this - it must have been the day after it was on.

They repeated it when I was at uni, in about 2000, which showed how good it still was.
