The carer had 2 teeth out about 10yrs ago, under a valium injection in Crewe, he decided to tell the dentist all my (not his own) secrets, bizzarely he also told the dentist that my blood was blue which made me an alien! Dentist was VERY amused. (I hate to think what was said).

Oh Christ I'll never know lol!!

If it weren't for the cost, having all your teeth replaced with false (but perhaps not removable?) teeth sounds like a great idea.

Up until the 1950s it was common in some families for people to have all their teeth removed and false teeth fitted as a 21st birthday present!

Somehow I don't get offered the option of general anaesthetics, Usual quote at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge was "if you want that done under a general anaesthetic the waiting list is over five years, but we can do it next week under local" Something to do with a completely trashed recovery room and some slightly battered staff on the first op I had, which was under a general. Word has spread.

In agony and keeping the salt, paracetamol and ibuprofen companies in business. Counting down the 4hrs until the next lot can be taken.

Today's visit to dentist surgery for hygienist appt discovered I had been transferred over to the new dentist's list that I saw yesterday. Now transferred back to my usual one who has done all the work on my teeth since he started many moons ago !
Appt booked for Monday with him for possible extraction :(

Just had a knock at the door from the postie ......a big box with flowers , choccies and a card from son to cheer me up

I came past earlier and it seemed considerably busier than last season.
Right, I thought that, but I haven't been keeping detailed records.

Glad to have some confirmation.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Finally Mrs p has relented and allowed jr to mow the lawn on the ride on for the first time today. She's always been massively afraid that he'd hurt himself. He did a good job too.

It's ironic really as she had no objection to him learning how to drive a car during lockdown and admires his ability to hand brake turn and flip park!

Drove down to near Gloucester to visit a camping showroom to try and decide what tent we want. Shortlist down to 2. I wanted to go to Cheltenham on the way home, the OH didn't, so we diverted to Ludlow. I expected more than there was.
