Homemade Meatballs, the carer made them and put 58 (at least) cloves of garlic in there.... Horrible. I have work tomorrow, stay away. :(

Tonights culinary offering will be Chicken Korma. Hisnibs will have Uncle Bens Special fried rice, whilst I personally shall go for a bag of Sainsburys long grain white.
That is if I can be bothered to get my bum into gear and go and get the sauce.

No, because you are not cooking it, you are reheating something that has already been cooked

Soooooo how do you explain this then? And why do ping ping meals have "cooking" instructions? :)

I've just had a burger, largely because the packet was open and it needed to be consumed soon.

In between bursts of activity turning it over, I was updating some records of when various things had happened - it's useful to be aware of when things might need doing again in the future.

I noticed that the current gas cylinder for the cooker in the house had been installed (by me) in April, which seemed a long time for it to still be going - I wondered if somebody else might have been roped in to change it when I wasn't here.

Then the grill went out...

It's a quick job to fit the spare cylinder - and I do have the cooker in the Shed, with its own cylinder, should I ever get properly caught out.

An exchange cylinder is now on the To Get list.

It is indeed possible to cook food in a microwave although whether the results are worth it is a matter of opinion. In the case of the stew mentioned though it was almost certainly already cooked and being reheated. Why do microwave meals have "cooking" instructions, probably because it sounds more up market - and most actually seem to have "heating" instructions anyway.

Microwaved scrambled eggs are acceptable enough, I find.

Stir fried barbecue pork with Kimchi egg fried rice and a coconut milk based barbecue sauce.
Blinkin' 'eck I'm good.
Where do you get your Kimchi? I know my place sells it in jars, but wasn't sure if it was 'authentic' enough....
