Ah I see, and that makes sense, I walked to haughton today- and the muddy parts defo on the way to gnosall (me and my short term memory) probably where the elevation starts dropping I assume, still a tad muddy but nothing to be bothered about before them.

Think it was around the halfway mark between haughton and gnosall if not a little before for the first mud crossing
I seem to remember turning round on this run at puddles under a bridge? Obviously a lot depends on the weather the last few days though.

Bridge is fine, It's where there's a gate that goes onto the field at the side, and a little walkway gate, it's hard to explain

Don't think it's far from the farm/gnosall at all, wouldn't like to run through that mind you walking was bad enough so you'll have to try and see ; )

Looks about right, that could be mystery solved haha, you can also see the 1st bit i'm on about if you go a bit backwards, next to building again

it's all good fun until you go through there and have to walk back through town looking like you've been in a mudbath

I'll go again soon and i'll take a photo of what I mean, not that it's that much of a big problem! just been playing on my mind trying to remember exactly where it was, but that looks as close to it as i've seen!

If the rain has been real bad, the entire section from the M6 bridge toward Stafford is calf/ankle-deep in water for at least 300m.

That's something to look forward too, I wonder if the actual railway use to flood?
