I have been offered a heater made by these people - https://www.tutcosureheat.com/ .

It sounds very effective. It operates at 3,000 psi and consumes 1 to 3 megawatts. It reaches 600°C in ten seconds and eventually close to 1,000°C.

It sounds good, what with the winter in the offing, but it would run up my bills a bit, if the supply fuse didn't collapse instantly anyway - and it might be worth waiting to see what sort of UK/USA trade deal actually happens..

I can have 15% off all new Barbie products.

And, even more amazingly, 20% off food from my "favourite takeaway in Grimsby".

I did go to school 20 miles away from Grimsby for a year, but actually visiting the great port city never really got into Volume 1 of my Things To Do list.

So, I may have to forgo this offer

I have conflicting banners on the Forum at the moment.

At the top, I am being offered a selection of young Ukrainian ladies.

At the bottom, I am being offered something which will "solve your bird problems".

This seems to be strips of stainless steel spikes to keep all the Ukrainian ladies at bay.

Can't be too careful, I suppose.

The spikes could be arranged to form them into an orderly queue.

Enjoying a drop of red.

You're being offered Ukrainian ladies and all you can think about is forming them into an orderly queue?

Dear God...

I haven't been in a gym since early 1974, and that was just to placate one of those weird teacher-types.

I am now being urged to attend a specific gym, for a session that "will leave you feeling accomplished".

It would actually be an accomplishment to tick off the To Do list,

I've never been to Ipswich.

Although, that is a long way down the list.

Screwfix wants to sell me woodscrews. Fair enough, I do use a good few.

These ones are extremely specialist, by the look of them.

They have quite a large variety of other sizes available, should you ever need a left-handed woodscrew - I never have.

Left-handed threads do have a place, the left side pedal axle on a bicycle, for example, but I've never seen a situation where a woodscrew would find that to be of any real advantage.

You'll also need a left handed screwdriver to use them properly :)

Would a 'leftie' find it more comfortable screwing in such a screw ? Replies from 'lefties' would be appreciated. (And I get to mark some cards ... (evil laugh.) ) :teef:

No because that’s what electric screwdrivers and rattlers are for.

I have, several times now, been approached by Wheelmania Tuning, in an effort to get me to avail of their facility to create bespoke wheels for my car.

"Design your own wheel!
Any shape, colour and size.
Fully forged.
Contact us now to start designing your dream wheel."

I have given this some thought and have come to the conclusion that circular is still going to be the best shape for a wheel.

It might come to the point where there are enough potholes for wheels to benefit from having a lump on one side..?

Especially if Tolstoy's War and Peace is onboard. That book is really heavy going. :P
