Visited Cannock Designer Outlet this morning for something to do on hubbys week off. Wrongly expected it to be not so busy if we got there early...
Big queues on surrounding roads and entering the Outlet , then around the full carparks hunting for spaces.
.
I’ve just got back after a very pleasant few hours. I got there just after 4.00pm, no queues to get in, loads of car parking spaces so I parked near the entrance and walked straight in.
It was very clean and well laid out and it was so nice to be somewhere where there were actual shops rather than your typical High St full of charity shops or boarded up buildings.
The only queues were outside the Nike store, Haribo and a cosmetics shop but none of those shops interested me anyway.
I definitely wouldn’t visit in the day time, I picked the right time to go.
The only negative thing that I could say about it was that it was much smaller than I thought so I did walk round quite quickly. i didn’t buy anything although I could have spent a fortune on shoes and handbags.
I believe the owners have bought a neighbouring field and if this phase goes well then they may double the size in future.
