Ha, just down the road from you in Formby.I was in Southport so missed it. I really wish I had been in the town to cheer the runners on.

No. We have a place next to the golf course that backs on to the squirrel reserve.Yes indeed. Where are you normally, Formby Point?
Might have been something to do with the free drinks offer. We went to Candid afterwards, I've never seen it so busy.

Yep, everyone was upselling to a pint though and lots of pizzas were being had, so speculate to accumulate and all that.Might have been something to do with the free drinks offer.
Running it for the first time, and no issues with the finish....Long time away from the Forum but running the Half again this year (subject to the weather not cancelling it). End of the new route looks a bit of a mess with a switchback likely to cause problems?
Anyone else running it / thoughts on the course changes?

I ran through the park as park of the 10k last year and it was terrible. To be clear this wasn't the usual section by the river and under the bridge but a technical section by the bandstand....It's a shame they couldn't get the end to finish within the park, but I suppose they had to try to squeeze it in without the high street.
