As a driver, happy to go to Queensville to visit. Sad for those that don't, but there's a bus from town (that's how I used to get there before I drove) or shanks' pony.Which makes sense, car parking etc, but sadly does nothing but draw footfall away from the main street therby continuing it's decline
Live somewhere other than Stafford. As a matter of interest, what do people do now if they need to get somewhere & don't drive?
Or live near the town center and own a shopping trolly. Admittedly my husband has a car and does the weekly shop, but if he didn't we'd just get that delivered. I don't drive however but I'm greatful for being healthy enough to be able to walk across town if I need it.Live somewhere other than Stafford.
That's breakfast sorted sorted then on days when I have to deliver p jr to Newport.Greggs apparently going in the old carphone unit on queen's retail park.
I have use of our car available with hubby WFH since moving( used to have to walk to shops back in Stafford, often carting 'bargain' microwaves and hoovers back up Radford Bank) but tend to jump on the regular buses into town instead now here in Worcester .Hardly ever used my OAP pass in Stafford with crap services.Live somewhere other than Stafford.
How long has Carphone Warehouse been closed there? Last time I went in they weren't very helpful and I didn't venture in again.Greggs apparently going in the old carphone unit on queen's retail park.
About 2-3 years I think, don't think they reopened any after lockdown, just moved all branches within Currys stores.I have use of our car available with hubby WFH since moving( used to have to walk to shops back in Stafford, often carting 'bargain' microwaves and hoovers back up Radford Bank) but tend to jump on the regular buses into town instead now here in Worcester .Hardly ever used my OAP pass in Stafford with crap services.
Even if I walk to retail parks here there's buses along the route if needed.
Good regular services and people use them.
(And strangely I don't feel sick on these buses)

I saw it on the front of the express and star while in line at Tesco. Couple behind said great Poundland is coming back, never mind it's at queen's.Which makes sense, car parking etc, but sadly does nothing but draw footfall away from the main street therby continuing it's decline
Is it next to Costa? There doing something there, but it's a very small unit.I saw it on the front of the express and star while in line at Tesco. Couple behind said great Poundland is coming back, never mind it's at queen's.

Think it may be the old Mothercare shop as someone said it was going to be Unit 3Is it next to Costa?
I saw lights were on in the the other day, hope it's something good, it's a big space.Work taking place at the former Laura Ashley shop.
"STAFFORD BRANCH ST15 8AS" but if that postcode existed it would be in Stone.Christ, £3.95 for a slice of School Cake (the sprinkles one)
That better be amazing school cake because even I can make a pretty large batch of that at home, it’s cheaper and easier than a bloody Victoria sponge
Tbh everything on the dessert list (my go-to) is pretty expensive, when a vanilla milkshake - which anyone could easily make at home given how ubiquitous vanilla is in the average freezer - is £4…
ST15 8AS does exist, it's coming up as the Crown hotel in Stone."STAFFORD BRANCH ST15 8AS" but if that postcode existed it would be in Stone.
If it's really ST16 2PX they're only 43% right.
