Ours appears to have been off and on several times in the past week, judging by the state of my alarm clock. Today was the third time I've had to reset it over the last few days.
Newport Road is going to be resurfaced from the Grapes to the Castlefields roundabout. It will last from the middle of May to around October. At the same time, they're going to improve the footways in the area. They're also going to put down tactile paving (the lumpy stuff) across a lot of...
You're welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I just know so many people who either don't know Karma is there or know but have never bothered to go that I thought it was time to spread the word.
I also realised the other day that that special offer I was on about (4 courses for £10.95) is included...
We went in the other night and 'as we're regulars' they let us have the special offer of 4 courses for £10.95 which really brought the prices down. (I wouldn't call four visits in two years regular but who am I to complain?)
Poppadoms, starter, main and rice or a naan in there, so the bloke and...
It was supposed to have started already but it's been delayed for a month due to a) lack of publicity and b) the pre-general election 'County Council can't show favourites' period.
An MP has to perform his national duties as well as his local ones. Stamp would have to have his say on all sorts of Stafford issues to do with employment, transport and the economy. If his only debating points still consist of rural roads he won't do very well.
As for national issues, I can't...
I don't think he's tried the other route, which seems to work for every other councillor.
I have no doubt that he is trying to represent his constituents' best interests, but I think he'll struggle to make the leap from small minded rural whinges to looking after an entire county.
I'm sure he could be a lovely chap in private, but on a professional level ie in his role as councillor, he just does my head in. http://www.barrystamp.co.uk/ he campaigns on highways issues but instead of dealing with the highways department to get things done, he just goes straight to the...
Newport Road is due a reconstruction job and closure running from May to October.
You can report defects online to SCC here: http://localview.staffordshire.gov.uk/lvinternet/ but be warned, they will not respond to let you know what they're doing unless you specifically request a call back.
Kidney lost my vote when he voted in favour of the Digital Economy Bill without bothering to sit in on the debate. He follows the party whip far too often for my liking.
I was going to vote Lib Dem but I can't quite bring myself to lend any support to Barry Stamp.
I'm surprised that there hasn't been more reviews of Karma II. I've been three times now and every time have received excellent service and food.
Perhaps it's the lack of delivery take-away that lets them down in the popularity stakes.
Ps. The best take-away in town has got to be Nishads.
