The Main Stem album launch party **GIG POSTPONED**

I know this has been mentioned in another thread, but I thought I'd start one specific to this event.

The Main Stem, a Stafford-based group, are launching their album and celebrating the occasion with a party @ The MET Studio on Saturday night. I didn't know I was able to attend until just now as had got the wrong month for some friends' housewarming do in Madchester.

This should be a great night...as was mentioned in the other thread (which I can't be arsed to link to) they are all really good live acts. Matrix & Mauskramp are both regulars at the Stafford Summer Festival thingy and have been fantastic to watch each and every time. Can't wait!



edit: I know I've not mentioned The Main Stem as being great live above, but that's cos I think this is their first official performance under that name. I've seen them all play live under various different guises and know it will be great. I've also been sat there whilst they've been making tunage, so to a certain extent I'm part of the album too! Not..

Or, to give them all religion-related anagram names (seeing as it's called 'Electric Church'):

It's about 120 according to their website but I have no idea of where the stage will be on the night so can't be certain.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you'll be able to pay on the door. I'll see if Benny Upsetter (one of The Main Stem) can shed any light on either of the above.

I have no idea why yet, but a friend on Facebook has just posted that the gig on Saturday night has been postponed. Boo!
