Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
Just applied for 3 jobs. I've had to because I was made redundant on Thursday without any notice.

Thanks to both of you.

I've been in graphic design/printing for nearly 30 years.

At least Trumpet has got something for being made redundant. My now ex-boss has left all of us without a penny despite the company being solvent. We are now having to claim from the government for redundancy pay, pay in lieu of notice and holiday pay.

Yeah, good luck. Also name and shame please, makes sure we can all avoid dealing with said boss in the future.

It's John Leigh Printers on Astonfields.

I worked there, in two spells, a total of 21 years. Some of my colleagues had worked there 41, 39 and 29 years.

If he's not bankrupt can you pursue a civil case for monies owed? The guy sounds like a ****, hopefully he owes the gov money too as at least they can chase him.

At least the stafford forum appears quite highly in google, so anyone searching for John Leigh Printers will see the guy is not to be trusted.

The old excuse is always trotted out saying they have loads of applicants and couldn't possibly contact everyone that was unsuccessful.
