Thinking everything American is best.
- The letter is Zed not Zee.
- The Office is only good when its English.

Also football shirts - I am thinking of entering politics only to bring in a law making it illegal for anyone over the age of 10 to be seen in public in a football shirt unless they are actually playing or watching.

The perpetual notion of:

"It can't be done"

"Make it someone else's problem"

"It can't be my fault..."

"You did *this* so I'm going to sue you..."

And plus one for X Factor / BGT / BBC / only ask is Essex etc etc

I could go on...
Not my department mate.

I'll tell the union on you.

Do as we say or we strike.

etc.

What gets me about the British is how we always seem to start a conversation using the weather as subject matter. I'm guilty of this, as I'm sure most are. This is with people we don't know, of course.
