Does anyone know what was going on down the side of couture on saturday night/sunday morning?? police everywhere, an ambulance and someone on the floor lots of people crowding round??

Yeah I was right there actually, waiting to drive out of Espley's Yard onto Newport road. Basically there were two groups of people brawling and the girls kept trying to separate them - eventually the two groups were a few yards apart. One bloke (let's call him drunk dickhead A) stomped over to (lets call him drunk dickhead B) and punched him in the face when he wasn't expecting it. B fell to the ground and whacked his head. A didn't go for him again and was quietly aprehended by the local bouncers. The police arrived shortly after and arrested him, again without a problem.
The police then proceeded to take statements from everyone for the next 10 minutes whilst ambulance crews tended to B.
Short version: Two poorly educated people from questionable backgrounds got drunk on their dole money, couldn't handle it and had a punch-up costing the tax payer a devastating amount of money and potentially denying someone in genuine need of an ambulance access to one.
The police then proceeded to take statements from everyone for the next 10 minutes whilst ambulance crews tended to B.

I live here in Riverside Mews (the apartment building on Espley's Yard) and didn't see it! That sucks, I always enjoy watching dumb drunk people. I've only seen a few fights, this one sounds like it would have topped them all! I was probably asleep
edit: I would have been amazing too because I always record any fights I see in the hope that one day I might be useful, if I'd seen it I could have just given video evidence, they'd have loved me!

I hope it doesnt lose it license , Those knobheads who drink in there will look for somewhere else in Stafford if Couture should close. There always seems something menacing and uptight about Couture.. at least Zanzibar was crap and no-one took it too seriously
Neither do i, because a few idiots should not spoil it for everyone else.

Nah nothing serious as far as I could tell but the chap who was punched hit the deck and never got up again so there's no telling what damage was caused by his head hitting the ground. They were apparently fighting over some chlamydia ridden two bit whore sporting the current trend of 'cutting my hair shorter than a boys because for some reason society thinks this is currently cool' hair cut and a skirt so short I was able to compare the kebab i was eating to the kebab I was not...
