Tesco Petrol

I have been to Tesco Petrol station in Stafford a couple of times this week and noticed that they don't have any ordinary petrol only the higher grade one plus diesel. It's very frustrating to have to drive in to find that all the pumps selling "normal" petrol have yellow plastic signs on them. Why can't Tesco put a big sign at the entrance advising customers that they don't have any? It's strange because it's been like that for a few days. Anyone know what's going on there?

When i filled up on Thursday morning they only had regular grade and yellow tags on the higher grade.

The pumps don't work because Randles took the handles.

They had both types last night but a lot of the pumps were not in use. It's been like that for a while now.

Are we there yet?
Those pumps seems to have had problems from the start; they used to have dog-awful problems scanning clubcards, meaning using the shop, rendering the time-saving element useless. And that was assuming the kiosk was open. Then there are the two front pumps which seem perpetually out of order.

Surely a change of equipment would be a viable solution here?

Enjoying a drop of red.
It's often the case that they run out of fuel of one sort or another. The problem is the place is badly managed, and that includes the complete lack of management of the surly staff as well.

I swung by there today, and all grades of fuel were available.

As far as I could tell it was the expensive fuel they had unavailable for sometime. No matter to me as I prefer the cheaper stuff. It's not about paying extra now is it! =D.

Hardly the fault of the staff though. They are simply told what to change the price to by Tesco Head Office.

Ooh, i hadn't thought of that, i was rather hoping it was the one on the Newport Road.

Otherwise my gag doesn't work at all...

Wolverhampton Road is an Esso, not Tesco fuel.

The only Tesco fuel in Stafford is from the main supermarket on the Newport Road.
