I've heard of somewhere round the old RAF camp does caravan storage at a decent rate, but can't elaborate any more.

Enjoying a drop of red.
There's the site by the junction of the A518/A51 at Weston.

There also used to be a site just behind where Davies Nissan is on the A449. Not sure that one is still there though.

A friend of mine recently claimed to have found a spot-on local place, but I can't remember where he said it was, and he seems to be away in it at the moment. I'll keep an eye out for his return. I vaguely remember it being on a farm, but I might be making that up...

Any idea how much it is yearly? Got one on my drive I want rid of!
They not usally a lot - i stored mine and it was £75 a qtr......but that was in cornwall lol :) so might be cheaper round here.....look for one that moves them around as it keeps the wheels from siezing. The one at J13 does.

Don't go to the one on Wolverhampton road (wrdavies) we store our van there and the place has been broken into twice. The first time the thieves emptied quite a few caravans. Ours is still there until we find somewhere else. Our caravan is highly insured now :(

The caravans are also packed in like sardines and if there is an issue the old gentleman is very unhelpful and a right grump ... Having said that the owner's son helps to run the place he is helpful.

We used to keep ours behind Davies Cars on the Wolverhampton Road but left after two or three break-ins. We now store ours at Salt Heath at the site mentioned above. The Peakes are nice people and you have to get through three different security barriers to get at the caravans.

Dont go to wolverhampton road then lol.........like i said i havent used them as mine was stored in cornwall, but i have seen them and i really didnt think that having a 4ft gap between each van and a whole roadway between rows, was "packed in like sardines"!!
Also take into account - no matter where u park it theres a chance of breakins, i mean look at the crime wave thats been going round parkside last few months!! I dont know of any caravan storage that has 24hr security guards, with a personal cctv for each van lol

He's back now, and he uses Central Caravan Services, just off the Tixall road here - internal storage in a big steel shed at £37.50 a month, but with no hook-up ( so he has a solar panel for the alarm, etc ) - the columns in the building stop the vans from being parked too tightly - they might have vacancies, but it seems to be a highly sought after place - http://www.centralcaravanservices.co.uk/

Any updates on caravan storage and prices?

We are thinking about getting a caravan and would need storage.

£37.50 a month for storage sounds a lot to me, that is £450.00 a year before you start!

I could get a week in Benidorm for that!

We're going to look at pye green caravan storage on Saturday and sort out paper work I presume. Not been before and don't know what it will cost. In laws put our name on waiting list a while ago and they contacted us as they have a free space. We were happy to choose it on their recommendation.

I will post more information once I've been.
