What does sheek mean?

Do you mean chic by any chance?

If you are trying to promote business in Stafford and are trying to be professional then at least do a spell check.

Well you still got the meaning and it's a widely accepted variation on the word and in the lexicon of most the western youth

I apologise If I have caused you any offense and I appreciate your time.

.

Well that last bit doesn't really read right either.
But anyway, you are right.
I looked up the word "sheek".

It does not appear in any respected dictionary but it does appear in the "urban" dictionary

So do I take it that your website is only to be directed at "most of western youth" and not middle aged women?

This is an internet forum, not an english exam.
innit - I'm something of a grammar nazi myself, but one has to learn to give a little 'pon these 'ere internet forums.. i remember loads of people giving gdavies stick when he first started posting, myself included, then it turned out the poor guy's dyslexic! i've since met him for realzies, and can confirm he's a lovely bloke & not at all the numpty that some people painted him to be..

that being said, there's a line to be drawn.. "sheek" lol..

If there is a special urban dictionary, then I want my own, too.

I shall consider myself told off.

I can be a bit pedantic at times. I do get a bit wound up about incorrect spelling and grammar.

One has to have standards darling or we'll all be in the gutter.

I'm the same quite often TBH, but it just semed the only response the poor guy was getting was to correct his spelling! Not really the best way to welcome a new user.

The cocktail lounge bit is good.
That is all.
Looks like the Chef has gone before I had chance to sample his remarkably expensive even by Michelin starred restaurants, food.
