Just been down this afternoon to ask about parking and to see where about the reg office entrance is, all I can say it get's better. Asked at reception and was told entrance was at courner of buiding and I could park in the car park across the road - don't think so won't fit. Don't look good at the moment with boarding to both sides of entrance, no photo's me thinks.

The car park opposite is a fair suggestion, as most people do turn up at a wedding in a vehicle that will fit into one car parking space...!

Well job done - parked on the main road with no problem, unlike another party waiting there private hire minibus has took them to the old reg office and by the time the driver had found the new one they had missed there slot.

Would be interesting wouldn't it to get an update on the progress (or lack thereof) with the snags on the build. I remember that back in the summer when SCC halted repair works on the site in order to have a "frank" discussion with the contractors regarding the snail like progress the contractors came back and said that all work would definately be complete on site by Christmas. SCC then confirmed this in an article printed in one of the local papers. We are now well into December and completion looks just as far off as ever
I don't however remember the contractors actually confirming which Christmas it was that they were talking about......

I’m checking to see whether the Christmas end date you mention is still likely, but I need to ask a couple of people who aren’t going to be around until early next week. Bear with me and I’ll post back then.

So just £2,800 for the tables, yay. I'll assume they claimed travel on expenses, plus if this was a daytime function they will still have been paid. What a lovely use of our taxes, at least it wasn't just ****** up a wall!
