Hi folks, does anyone know what day next week the kids go back to John Wheeldon...i currently have 4 different people who are adamant its either Tuesday 4th or Thursday 6th..the council website says Tuesday 4th but doesnt include inset days which apparently is why it could be Thursday. Obviously there is no one in at the school to ask and i gave up trying to get through on the phone to the council...Eeeek! Cheers in advance!!

Give them the benefit of the doubt and leave them out until Thursday - it won't do any harm.

My partners youngest is at JW, I'm sure she said Thursday for her but Tuesday for the eldest who is at Balfour.

There are moves afoot in Wales to have all schools operating between the same set dates - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-19467626 - it's been the case in Ireland for many years. Seems sensible to me.
