I ran into him last week, and he did mention some phone problems. Would have guessed he'd have been online though, unless his phone is his internet. I dunno TBH, since I moved north of the river I've not seen him that much.

He hasn't been on Facebook either. I wouldn't give up on him tho, he really is a brilliant worker, I will have him back to do some more jobs for me - just as soon as I work out what!

Last time I saw him, he'd had a massive phone disaster and was struggling with the internet out in Yokelsville..

His own fault for moving outside of a cabled area! Not that our virgin service has been great lately, but at least I can still get online!

Apologies all round regarding the lack of communication, I shall be in touch regarding any prospective works with the relevant people, presuming I've not left it too late. Specifically 1JKz, as I promised you a quote last week and totally forgot to respond before going away; that, I admit, is completely my fault and I'll try not to let this happen again - not that it's any excuse but I am up to the eyeballs with work at the moment and unfortunately I seem to have taken my eyes off the ball, with the net result as above. I'll be in touch later this evening to sort that one out if you still want me to do the works for you.

NiceDave, trailer is looking good, will be starting on the electrical side of it this coming week (all going to plan), so I will most likely need to borrow you at some point to test the lights / wiring - for some reason I still don't seem to have your number, despite being sure I've saved it on my phone :raise: so if you wouldn't mind texting me on 07746 451629 just so I can get in contact with you to arrange a suitable date, that'd be much appreciated.

Hope this helps explain things a little folks, and hopefully I've not managed to annoy too many people in the process.

Jay I have 3 plastic boxes of random articles cluttering up my kitchen - any chance you're coming to get them? Also a kettle for the lovely Ellie if she still wants it?
Also please can I have my hammer back! :)

Ah, yes lol, was wondering where that came from... I can come and exchange the said parts tomorrow afternoon, if that suits you? Will grab the boiling-device at the same time too, so many thanks!

I received an apologetic txt from Jay asking if I'd still like the quote and work doing, I appreciate that, though it was too late.

Still, I've decided not to go with Jay.

...right, where did i put my tool belt!

Just a quick shameless plug folks, I'm now online on Facebook, with a few pictures of previous jobs done! The link's below, and gives a rough idea of some of the varying types of work I've been asked to do.

Bit of a bump for this post. Had Neon Jay round today to put up a fence panel for us. As always, brilliant job, kept the cats amused, even the little un said hello to him.
Touch of eye candy after a hard shift at the nut house too!

Keep him in coffee, 2½ sugars, and he'll be happy. Not too happy I hope, he's doing another fence panel for me soon............

Often said, but I genuinely mean this - NO job is too small! References are available upon request, from both Forum users and other jobs. VERY reasonable rates, and I can also supply 99% of the materials likely to be needed.

ANYONE WISHING TO HAVE QUOTES DONE PLEASE USE MY MOBILE NUMBER - 07927 179066

I can't stress the importance of this point as my current lack of a good internet connection may seem as if I'm ignoring potential customers, and I assure one and all this is NOT the case. I will try and respond to forum requests but cannot guarantee a fast response at the current time.
PLEASE NOTE - NO GAS, PLUMBING OR LARGE ELECTRICAL JOBS (ie rewires, fusebox installs, bathroom / wet area / external) - I'm not qualified for gas or electrical works, so please consult a qualified professional for these types of jobs. Likewise I'm not competent with plumbing, so please, let someone else do it properly - there are plenty of other Forumites who will be happy to help on this one.
Does anyone know if @Neon Jay is still alive/well and doing all of these sorts of things?
