I've just been to Simmons, next door, and all looked normal at Stafford uPVC...Have been considering ordering a conservatory from Stafford Upvc. Have just been told that they've gone bust.
Has any body heard anything.
Fair enough - the gates were open and a van or two was about, but no obvious activity. I saw vans in action last week, I believe..Limited Company Search Results - 1 results

Possibly a 'pre-pack' admin deal if they're up and running so quickly.Drove past today, all looked open and normal to me, but I did notice the UPVC bit of their sign was blanked out so it now reads Stafford Windows. Change of name perhaps?
Welcome to our Select little Forum - there may be some people out there in the lurch in need of assistance.Run window business tired of these phoenix companies giving industy bad name, in 4th decade of trading, dont want to sound like advert but willing to help anyone who has had issues with this company
They did ours in 1988 and the windows are still in good nick (not sure about the hinge mechanisms, though, which are a bit of a struggle).Stafford Aluminium/UPVC did my windows and doors nearly 15 years ago and they are still looking absolutely fab! It's a real shame you've gone under.
People such as Screwfix can provide various replacement hinges..not sure about the hinge mechanisms, though, which are a bit of a struggle.
